Stay at the Maltsters .......
The Maltsters is the ideal place to stay and relax. Situated in the most beautiful
spot on Bow Creek and close to all that is happening on the water plus the many interesting
places to visit and things to do near by. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers
and just escaping from the hustle and bustle of a hectic life.
We offer 5 individual rooms all en-suite with TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities
and a full hearty English or continental breakfast is included. We pride ourselves
on the excellent customer service we give, so please ask us if you have any special
requests or requirements.
KHUN AKORN - (The Eastern Room) With a low wooden ceiling and a huge draped four
poster bed, this room is adorned in a uniquely colourful, sumptuous and intimate
Thai style. Rich fabrics and cushions encourage you to lie back, relax and enjoy
the comfort.
DUKES SUITE - A giant raised bed, with a view down across Bow Creek, lounge area
and splendid old wooden furniture still do not fill this huge room, richly decorated
in dark greens and blues. Windows overlook the River and the Quayside. The bathroom
is splendid - a vast freestanding victorian style bath, a separate shower, endless
mirrors and lighting to match the stars. There is even a small kitchen for late night
snacks.
FLOYDS CABIN - Designed as a sort of river or seafaring cabin with an astronomical
and nautical theme, this room defies description, but it is definitely fun. Here
you will find many of the curios and mementos that Floyd collected or was given.
A large window looks down over the creek to Crownley Wood on the other side. There
is a spacious en suite bathroom with a separate shower.
RICHMOND -This room is a standard size with a king size bed and en suite bathroom,
but does not overlook the quayside. The views are provided by stunning murals of
Richmond Bridge and Riverside!
PEPE’S FLAT - Pepe’s is a one bedroom self-catering flat available for week or 4-day
lets. There is a large double bedroom, a spacious living area (with two sofa beds)
and a well fitted open-plan kitchen, and a shower room. There is a phone, TV and
Video. Like the Submarine, there are no windows to the river, and the living area
is sky-lit. Rates are from £275 per week.
