The barbecue onthe quayside opens through the Summer as long as the weather is its usual bright sunny self ! During holiday times this is normally lunchtimes and evenings through the weekend and evenings during the week.

The barbecue is a real charcoal one, and on the menu we always include fresh fish (eg Tuna Steak or Trout Stuffed with Banana), rump steaks, good sausages and something vegetarian (eg Butternut Squash with a Fried Fruited Couscous and Garlic Butter). We like our barbecue, which is built of the finest Harberton Stone.

The bar onto the quayside itself is also open most of the time in the Summer.

About 8 times a year we have music on the Quayside, coinciding with a high tide so boats from Totnes, Stoke Gabriel, Dittisham and Dartmouth can all come and join in. Planned so far this year are a Junk Band , the amazing Sambaloco , a Salsa Band and Handel's Water Music with more in the pipeline. These events are crowded, but great fun!
